About me

 My name is Jade Donohue, LVT, founder of Faithful Companion Pet Care. As a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with over 20 years of animal experience, my mission is to provide top-notch, low-stress care and empowering client education right in the comfort of your home.

I specialize in specialized, gentle care techniques designed for nervous, senior, or giant-breed pets. Using tools like a specialized suspension dog lift and gentle Dremel rotary grinding, I provide safe, functional nail trims that drastically reduce anxiety and help shorten overgrown quicks. I also offer red laser photobiomodulation therapy to support joint mobility, ease arthritis, and assist in post-surgical rehabilitation.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Animal Science (BS) from Rutgers in 2011 and became a credentialed technician in 2015 after passing the VTNE. My goal is to serve as a convenient, compassionate partner in your pet’s health while supporting the vital relationship you have with your primary veterinarian. My family and I moved to Matamoras, PA in November 2024, and I’m thrilled to serve our local Tri-State community!
